Come See Us!

Skinquarter Baptist Church is a group of regular people who want to honor our Lord Jesus Christ and encourage each other to grow in our walk with Him.

What are your services like?

Whether it is through the music, prayer or preaching, God's Word is at the center of all of our gatherings.  Each service includes a time of prayer, greeting, worship through singing, and preaching. The sermons are built on God’s Word, not the pastor's ideas, and aim at transforming our lives to be more like Jesus Christ. While currently our worship style is traditional, we are upgrading our audio/visual equipment to transition to a blend of traditional and contemporary worship music.

Where should I park?

We have parking lot on either side of the church and two designated spots for visitors shortly after turning into the parking lot.

Where should I go when I enter the building?

You may either enter through the side entrance where there is wheelchair access and where you will find bathrooms, or you may enter through the front entrance where an usher will greet you and hand you a bulletin.

Do you provide childcare?

We provide childcare for children 2-12 years during the sermon time (Children's Church). Of course, parents can choose to keep their children with them for the entire service. We do plan to renew a nursery for birth through age 2. If your child becomes disruptive during the service, a parent has the option of slipping out to care for your child in one of the back rooms where you can still hear the service through the FM radio provided.

What should I wear?

We are more concerned about you and your presence with us than we are with what you wear. As a church, we gather to worship the Lord and want to dress in a way that honors God. Most of our members wear something in the range from casual to a traditional "Sunday best."
